Hill Country Community Theatre
The Hill Country Community Theatre, located five miles east of Marble Falls in Cottonwood Shores at 4003 FM 2147, is a well-known showplace for area talent. The all-volunteer actors stage a variety of performances, including musicals, dramas and comedies. Performances are acclaimed for the professionalism of sets, costumes and, of course, acting. The modern, comfortable playhouse features a foyer/lounge and nearly 150 seats, each with an excellent view of the stage. The theater box office opens a couple weeks before each show. Uptown Marble Theater
Even though this venue — set in a refurbished old-style movie theater — doesn’t usually offer plays, it is a showcase for live music, comedy acts and the occasional special film, including locally produced documentaries. The theater is located at 218 Main St. in downtown Marble Falls.
